The opening of Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA at Triple Bay marks a major milestone for Saudi Arabia’s luxury tourism ambitions, with Red Sea Global officially welcoming the first guests to its second flagship destination on the Kingdom’s northwestern coast.
More than simply the launch of a new resort, the debut signals the start of operations at AMAALA itself – a destination conceived as a global centre for luxury wellness tourism and one of the most ambitious components of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 tourism strategy.
Developed by Red Sea Global (RSG), the master developer behind both The Red Sea and AMAALA, the project aims to position Saudi Arabia among the world’s leading destinations for high-end wellness, regenerative tourism and experiential travel.

“The debut of our first resort at AMAALA is a moment of realization for us,” said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global. “By delivering this world-class asset to market on schedule, we are demonstrating that regenerative development can combine commercial ambition with meaningful environmental and social impact, while establishing Saudi Arabia as a premier global destination for luxury wellness.”
Located on the shores of Triple Bay, Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA has been designed by Dubai-based U+A architects and combines ultra-luxury accommodation with extensive wellness, dining and lifestyle offerings.
The resort features 202 guest rooms, suites and garden villas overlooking the Red Sea, along with 26 branded residential villas ranging from 552 to more than 1,000 square metres, each with a private pool.
At the heart of the property is the 2,095-square-metre HYLIAA Wellness & Spa, named after the Arabic word for “elegant beauty”. Guests will be able to participate in personalised wellness programmes developed by international specialists, including sound healing therapies, beachside yoga and bespoke wellbeing experiences. A premium fitness centre complements the wellness offering.
Dining is another key component of the resort experience. Six open-air venues include MAA Social, showcasing Middle Eastern coastal cuisine, and ROCK BAAR, dramatically positioned above a private cove overlooking the Red Sea.

The property has also been designed to appeal to multi-generational travellers. Families will find five swimming pools, a 900-metre private beach, a fully supervised Kids for All Seasons programme and a dedicated technology-driven club for teenagers.
For the meetings and events sector, Four Seasons AMAALA offers more than 1,000 square metres of flexible event space suitable for executive retreats, destination weddings and high-end corporate gatherings.
Importantly, the resort forms part of a broader destination ecosystem. Guests will have access to the AMAALA Yacht Club, the Marina Village retail and dining district, and guided visits to the Corallium Marine Life Institute, the landmark marine research and conservation centre designed by Foster + Partners.
As with other Red Sea Global developments, sustainability remains central to the project’s identity. Four Seasons AMAALA operates entirely on renewable energy and is supported by advanced waste-management systems designed to minimise environmental impact while contributing to conservation efforts in the surrounding marine environment.
For luxury travel advisors, the opening represents the arrival of a new product category within Saudi Arabia’s tourism portfolio. While destinations such as AlUla have established the Kingdom as a cultural and heritage destination, AMAALA is positioned firmly within the growing global wellness travel sector, targeting discerning travellers seeking high-end wellbeing experiences in a secluded coastal setting.
The launch is also only the beginning. Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA is the first of eight resorts scheduled to welcome guests at the destination this year, signalling a rapid acceleration in the development of what is expected to become one of the world’s most distinctive luxury wellness destinations.
