Red Sea Global has announced the opening of Nammos Resort AMAALA, marking the first resort hotel in the history of the Nammos brand and its debut in the Middle East.
Located on the shores of Triple Bay, with views across the Red Sea and Dumega Bay, the new property brings the brand’s distinctive combination of Mediterranean sophistication, dining and vibrant social experiences to Saudi Arabia.
Nammos Resort AMAALA is the sixth resort to open at the destination, which is being developed by Red Sea Global as a major centre for luxury hospitality, wellness, sport and lifestyle tourism.
“Nammos Resort AMAALA strengthens the diversity of experiences available across the destination, bringing the unmistakable energy and spirit of Mykonos to the Saudi Red Sea coast,” said John Pagano, Group CEO of Red Sea Global.
He added that the opening supports RSG’s ambition to establish AMAALA as one of the world’s leading luxury lifestyle and wellness destinations.

From Mykonos to the Red Sea
Designed by Foster + Partners, Nammos Resort AMAALA comprises 110 hotel keys and 20 private residences. Its architecture and interiors draw inspiration from both the Cycladic character associated with the brand’s Mykonos origins and the natural and cultural heritage of Saudi Arabia’s Red Sea coastline.
A centrepiece of the resort is the Nammos Beach Club, situated on its own private island and accessible by an exclusive boardwalk or private jetty. The club combines panoramic sea views, Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and the lively atmosphere for which Nammos has become internationally recognised.
Carolyn Turnbull, CEO of Nammos Hotels & Resorts, described the opening as the beginning of a new chapter for the company.
“We have taken everything people know and love about the brand – its sense of occasion, exceptional hospitality, unforgettable dining and distinctive energy – and reimagined it as a complete resort experience,” she said.
The opening represents a significant evolution for a name best known for its beach clubs and restaurants. At AMAALA, that lifestyle identity has been expanded into a complete hospitality concept encompassing accommodation, dining, wellness, leisure and residential ownership.

A social approach to wellness
The resort also introduces the first Nammos Spa, whose “Boundless Wellbeing” concept combines personal renewal with the brand’s characteristically social approach.
Its programme includes late-night sound healing, soundscape sessions, spa parties, manifestation experiences and advanced skin-health treatments. The concept aims to integrate wellness into the wider resort experience rather than presenting it as a separate or purely clinical offering.
Guests will also have access to activities throughout AMAALA, including sailing and marine excursions, wellness trails, equestrian experiences and destination events staged along the Red Sea coastline.
For families, the Blu Kids Club provides a dedicated environment centred on discovery, creativity and nature-inspired learning.

Twenty branded residences
Nammos Residences AMAALA comprises 20 private homes overlooking the waterfront marina. The collection includes one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments, together with a three-bedroom penthouse.
The residences feature spacious interiors, large terraces and views across the marina and the Red Sea. Owners will have access to the resort’s dining venues, Nammos Beach Club, amenities and personalised services, with the properties managed by Nammos Hotels & Resorts.
The residential component reflects the growing importance of branded residences within Saudi Arabia’s new generation of luxury tourism developments, offering international and regional buyers access to both private accommodation and a fully serviced resort lifestyle.
AMAALA continues to expand
Nammos is the sixth resort to begin welcoming guests at AMAALA. A further three resorts are scheduled to open in the coming months, alongside additional branded residences, wellness facilities, marina services, retail outlets and restaurants.
AMAALA welcomed its first guests in 2026 and forms part of Red Sea Global’s expanding portfolio of tourism and lifestyle destinations. The developer is also behind The Red Sea, which opened to visitors in 2023, and Thuwal Private Retreat, launched in 2024.
The arrival of Nammos adds a more socially oriented dimension to AMAALA’s hospitality portfolio, combining the energy of an internationally recognised Mediterranean lifestyle brand with the destination’s broader focus on wellbeing, coastal experiences and high-end tourism.
