After a major refurbishment, Riyadh’s famed Al Faisaliah Hotel has officially been rebranded as the Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah. This marks the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group’s first foray into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
Surrounded by the iconic Al Faisaliah Tower and Al Faisaliah Mall, the property represents the epitome of Arabian hospitality and Saudi charm. Described as an “urban oasis”, it features 325 tastefully designed rooms and suites, complemented by around-the-clock butler service, an array of innovative dining options, award-winning spa and wellness facilities, and 6,300 square meters of customisable meeting facilities and event space.
The launch was commemorated on 16 January with a grand ribbon-cutting ceremony, graced by the presence of Al Khozama Company’s Chairman, His Royal Highness Prince Bandar Bin Saud Bin Khaled Al Saud, CEO Khalid Saud Abu Haimed, and senior leaders from the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group. A highlight of the event was the unveiling of a signature fan, designed by Her Royal Highness Princess Nourah Al Faisal, symbolising the hotel’s connection to Saudi Arabia’s rich heritage and vibrant future.
The hotel has undergone a comprehensive redesign led by Tihany Design. This transformation includes new guestrooms and suites, the ground floor lobby, The Mandarin Lounge, meeting rooms, and three atriums. Each space is uniquely decorated with bespoke Saudi-inspired artworks and Asian-influenced design elements.
The newly designed north building features several new room and suite categories, catering to the utmost comfort and convenience. The 265 square-metre Royal Suite and the Executive Corner Suite stand out for their luxury and panoramic views. Additionally, the hotel offers contemporary rooms that are among the most spacious in Saudi Arabia, all with 24-hour butler service and advanced entertainment systems.

Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah is also home to nine distinct dining destinations. La Brasserie offers international cuisine, while The Globe provides modern European dishes with stunning views of Riyadh. Other dining options include LPM, Mamo Michelangelo, and Asir Lounge, making the hotel a premier culinary destination.
The hotel’s award-winning Spa has introduced a new selection of exclusive skincare products, indulgent rituals, and wellness treatments. The fitness facilities include a gym, a private tennis court, and a 16-metre swimming pool with waterfalls, steam baths, and saunas.
Strategically located in the prestigious Olaya district, the hotel is an integral part of the city’s skyline and easily accessible from major locations like King Khalid International Airport. It is an ideal venue for social events, with Prince Sultan’s Grand Hall being a centrepiece for large gatherings.
This rebranding cements Mandarin Oriental Al Faisaliah, Riyadh’s status as a symbol of luxury and hospitality, building on over two decades of experience as a leader in Riyadh’s luxury hotel sector.
