Located in the heart of the city, Share Al Hob, known locally as the Love Market for the jewellery shops that ring its outer streets. Couples come here to choose bridal and anniversary gifts from the glittering window displays, bargaining with the shopkeepers who hover in doorways and vie for attention. The market was established in the 1940s and has become one of the most important popular markets, not only in Dammam but also in the entire Eastern Province. Visiting the market provides an opportunity to get to know local products closely, and enjoy a colourful scene and the smells of incense and spices. Discover the alleys of the market and the shops, taste the food and exchange conversations with the vendors. Dammam’s Love Market is located on 11th Street south of King Abdulaziz Street in Dammam. Entry is free, and the souq is open daily from 4 pm to 1 am. Some shops and vendors accept credit cards, but bring Saudi riyals and halalas for cash-only stalls.
Al Othaim Mall: The massive 70,000 sq m mall accommodates more than 392 shops in diversified categories, in addition to a series of outstanding restaurants, and Saffori Land entertainment park. Free wheelchairs are available for those who may need them.
