GOZahid and SAFE sign strategic partnership to boost high-end travel in Saudi Arabia

In a significant move to enhance travel planning for high-end travel advisors, Saudi-based DMC GOZahid has announced a strategic partnership with Saudi Arabia for Elites (SAFE). This agreement aims to extend GoZahid’s reach to a broader base of travel advisors, addressing a key challenge for those planning travel for high-net-worth individuals (HNWIs) and ultra-high-net-worth individuals (UHNWIs) in Saudi Arabia.

Empowering elite travel

GoZahid Destination Management, established by Zahid Travel, one of Saudi Arabia’s pioneering travel agencies since 1958, has been instrumental in promoting and managing the inbound visitor experience across the Kingdom. In collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism, the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Royal Commission for AlUla (RCU), NEOM, and other key stakeholders, GoZahid offers comprehensive destination management solutions that encompass air and ground transportation, accommodation, and customer experience management.

“As part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030, we believe it is our duty to deliver first-class services to visitors from around the world,” said Daniel Ponzo, Managing Director of Zahid Travel Group. “Moreover, we understand the critical importance of providing ‘elite’ service for our most discerning clients. Our partnership with SAFE will help us educate and inform potential clients about the breath-taking array of choices available in the Kingdom, making now the perfect time to visit Saudi Arabia.”

Gerard Lefebvre – CEO – SAFE

Gérard Lefebvre, CEO of SAFE, echoed this sentiment: “One of the key challenges for travel advisors looking to develop their business in Saudi Arabia and secure the journey of their HNWI clients is finding the right DMC partner. Go Zahid have proven to be exceptionally professional and reliable in this respect – qualities that are highly sought after in our field.”

Lefebvre added, “Saudi Arabia is a relatively untapped market with enormous potential. Our surveys show that 94% of travel advisors remain relatively uninformed about luxury travel in the Kingdom. This partnership aims to change that.”

Future collaboration and Vision 2030

The new partnership will see GOZahid embarking over the next months on a broad communication campaign via sa-fe.org, the official website of SAFE – Saudi Arabia For Elites, outlining various travel packages and bespoke tours tailored to the diverse preferences of high-end travellers. This collaboration aims to propel GOZahid further in line with Vision 2030, while SAFE’s support will enable the organisation to enhance communication with travel advisors globally, promoting the “new” Saudi Arabia and dispelling misconceptions about the Kingdom.
