Tabuk’s Prince Sultan Airport earns ACI level 2 customer experience accreditation

Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Tabuk has attained Level 2 Airport Customer Experience Accreditation, a prestigious recognition that underscores the airport’s ongoing commitment to enhancing passenger satisfaction. This accreditation, awarded by Airports Council International (ACI) as part of their Airport Service Quality (ASQ) programme, is a significant achievement, reflecting the airport’s dedication to delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless travel experience for all passengers.

Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz International Airport was built in the early 1970s as a dirt airstrip, until it was developed in 1978, when it was and converted it into a military base. In 2011, it became an international airport independent of the base at a cost of around SAR242 million. It was named Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Airport on the order of King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.

The Level 2 accreditation signifies that the airport has successfully implemented effective measures to monitor and improve the passenger experience. This is achieved through the consistent collection and analysis of traveller feedback, allowing the airport to respond promptly to passenger needs and concerns. The ASQ survey, conducted by ACI, plays a crucial role in this process, as it provides a comprehensive evaluation of airport services from the passenger’s perspective, covering various aspects such as cleanliness, comfort, and customer service.
