Neom Beach Games 2024: A global sporting spectacle returns with more international athletes and sports

The Neom Beach Games is set to return for its third edition this November, featuring an even more expansive range of sports and international talent. From 3 to 23 November 2024, the event will bring together athletes from around the world for six major international sports competitions, solidifying Neom’s role as a growing hub for global sports and athletic development.

A star-studded line-up of athletes

Following a summer filled with Olympic excitement, Neom Beach Games 2024 promises an electrifying experience for both athletes and fans. Olympic champions like Cassandre Beaugrand and Alex Yee (triathletes), Worthy De Jong (3×3 basketball), and speed climber Veddriq Leonardo will be among the 1,000 participants, including coaches and team officials, set to compete in Neom’s stunning landscapes.

Expanded sporting events for 2024

This year, the Neom Beach Games will feature six international competitions, showcasing a wide array of sports:

  • Supertri Neom: A triathlon event launching the series on Sunday, 3 November.
  • FIBA 3×3 World Tour Neom 2024: A thrilling basketball competition running from Thursday, 7 to Saturday, 9 November.
  • Neom IFSC Masters: A climbing competition scheduled from Monday, 11 to Wednesday, 13 November.
  • Neom Beach Soccer Cup: A dynamic beach soccer tournament taking place from Wednesday, 13 to Saturday, 16 November.
  • Neom TITAN Desert: A mountain biking event running from Monday, 18 to Friday, 22 November.
  • World Aquatics Open Water Swimming World Cup Neom: A brand-new event for 2024, featuring top athletes in open water swimming, set for Friday, 22 and Saturday, 23 November in the Red Sea.

Developing Saudi sporting talent

Neom, in collaboration with the sports’ rights holders and National Federations, continues to support grassroots initiatives aimed at developing Saudi talent. This edition of the Games will provide local athletes with opportunities to compete on the global stage, reinforcing Neom’s commitment to nurturing sports development within the Kingdom.

New events and Olympic medalists – big drawcards
