Éclat Hotels enters Saudi market in strategic partnership with Nasla Tourism Co.

Éclat Hotels, the Beijing-based luxury hotel brand celebrated for its fusion of art and architecture, has announced its official entry into the Saudi Arabian market through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Nasla Tourism Co. This collaboration marks a significant expansion for Éclat Hotels, aligning with Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 initiative, which aims to elevate the Kingdom’s tourism sector by attracting high-end travellers and establishing itself as a global tourism hub.

The concept is largely based on Hotel Éclat Beijing, which in 2023, was named the top hotel in China and ranked 37th worldwide by Condé Nast Traveler readers. It combines art and luxury in a setting featuring 100 rooms and suites with personalised service. The hotel includes a significant art collection, with works by artists like Salvador Dalí and Andy Warhol, as well as private lagoon suites and a variety of dining options.

Under the leadership of Dany Luetzel, Owners Representative of Éclat Hotels, and Ali Alsaileek, General Manager and Co-Founder of Nasla Tourism Co., this strategic partnership is set to bring Éclat’s distinctive brand of luxury, art, and bespoke hospitality to Saudi Arabia. The MoU “solidifies the shared vision between the two organisations” and sets the stage for a new type of boutique hotel experience that will cater to the growing demand for culturally enriched luxury travel in the Kingdom.

“This partnership not only broadens our reach but is a powerful testament to the Kingdom’s ambitions under Vision 2030. We look forward to working closely with Nasla Tourism Co. to introduce a truly unique hotel concept that will cater to both local and international guests seeking the highest standards of art of luxury and luxury of art.”

The planned Éclat Hotels property in Saudi Arabia will distinguish itself with themed suites, private lagoon accommodations, and an extensive art collection featuring works by iconic artists such as Salvador Dalí and Andy Warhol.

Ali Alsaileek shared his perspective on the impact of this partnership: “With Vision 2030 paving the way for more significant tourism development, this collaboration will set a new standard for luxury and artistic expression in the hospitality sector.

“The unique concept of The Éclat Hotels, with its personalised themed suites and celebrated art collections, will offer a fresh and exciting experience to our market. We believe this partnership will not only redefine luxury in the Kingdom but also align perfectly with our broader goals of enhancing tourism.”

The new Éclat hotel aims not only to meet the expectations of luxury travellers but also to exceed them by offering a “one-of-a-kind cultural experience”. Guests will be able to enjoy a service philosophy that emphasises exclusivity, privacy, and individuality, all while being immersed in stunning art exhibitions and luxury-driven experiences.

The arrival of new luxury hotel brands in the luxury segment in Saudi Arabia is set to play a crucial role in elevating the country’s hospitality landscape and enhancing its appeal as a premier destination for high-end travellers.
