The signing of the strategic partnership was marked by the presence of key industry figures, including Engineer Mohammed Muin Bushnag from the Ministry and Accor’s Group Deputy CEO, Jean-Jacques Morin. “Tamayyaz by Accor” sets a comprehensive blueprint for nurturing industry leaders through specialised tracks in operations, leadership, and specialist roles.

Morin’s enthusiasm was palpable as he shared, “We are thrilled to collaborate with the Ministry of Tourism to empower local Saudi talent in the hospitality industry. The initiative underpins the enthusiasm held by Accor’ CEO, Sébastien Bazin, for Saudi Arabia’s potential: “Saudi Arabia is pivotal on our global stage,” Bazin noted. “It’s a nation that combines leadership, vision, and resources in a way that’s unparalleled. They have a robust plan and the youth eager to welcome the world.”

Bazin also highlighted the strategic involvement of France in the Kingdom’s AlUla region, a collaboration that dates back to the inception of this heritage site’s development. With Accor’s footprint through brands like Banyan Tree, Bazin feels more an actor than an observer in Saudi Arabia’s unfolding narrative. “It’s a thrilling time. The projects here are monumental, and the leadership is exemplary,” he said. “When you’re in Saudi Arabia, time is of the essence. Decisions are made swiftly, and actions follow. Our task is to meet and exceed the high expectations set before us.”
