AlUla adds 5 new DMCs

In a strategic move to accelerate its tourism development, AlUla has expanded its list of preferred Destination Management Companies (DMCs).

In addition to existing DMCs – Go Zahid, The Traveling Panther, and AlUla Guide Tours – the newly added DMCs are Abercrombie & Kent, EXO Travel, DMC Arabia, Tetrapylon, and Discover Saudi. This expansion brings the total count of preferred DMCs to eight. These partnerships are aimed at broadening the range of services and curated travel packages available to visitors, marking a significant step in AlUla’s journey towards becoming a global tourism hub.

AlUla’s destination management companies play a crucial role in aiding tour operators and travel agencies in organising comprehensive travel plans. This includes arranging transportation, hotel accommodations, dining experiences, and unique local experiences.

Melanie de Souza, Executive Director of Destination Marketing at the Royal Commission for AlUla, highlighted the importance of these partnerships. “Our goal is to provide a diverse range of high-quality services to visitors. The new DMCs have been carefully selected for their expertise in our 10 key priority geographic markets. As AlUla positions itself as a luxury boutique destination, these collaborations are vital for offering a variety of experiences in arts, culture, adventure, and wellness,” she said.

The expansion aligns with increased airline and accommodation capacity in AlUla, including direct services from major cities like Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Dubai, and Doha, and seasonal services from Cairo and Amman. This improved connectivity is expected to facilitate easier access for both international and domestic travelers.
