NEOM’s Board of Directors has unveiled Elanan, a new addition to its series of sustainable developments in northwest Saudi Arabia, offering an exclusive retreat that merges luxury with wellness amidst natural settings.
Set to be located along the untouched Gulf of Aqaba coast, where mountains and sea converge, Elanan is designed as a sanctuary, nourished by age-old natural springs and featuring 80 tailored rooms and suites dedicated to holistic well-being.
Elanan will adopt a contemporary wellness philosophy, fusing cutting-edge technology with understated luxury to foster an environment conducive to relaxation and introspection. Its state-of-the-art amenities will be crafted to allow guests to indulge in peace, rejuvenation, and self-reflection.
The retreat is a testament to innovative architectural design, harmoniously integrating with its natural surroundings through modern techniques that produce structures resembling intricate sculptures, maintaining a balance between modern aesthetics and natural elements, offering a “distinctive architectural journey”.
Visitors to Elanan will be able to wander through expansive plazas, delight in exclusive dining experiences, unwind in the sun garden, or enjoy breathtaking vistas from the observation tower, embarking on a restorative journey from the moment of arrival.
The announcement of Elanan, as a resort, closely follows that of Norlana, a future wellness community, aiming to redefine luxury living with its limited residential offerings and an array of amenities including a 120-berth marina and an 18-hole golf course. Both projects underscore NEOM’s commitment to sustainability and innovation, further establishing the region as a burgeoning hub for sustainable tourism.
