SAFE has compiled a comprehensive “flipbook” online publication covering KSA’s presence at one of the world’s leading luxury travel trade events: ILTM Cannes.
Indeed, as the high-end tourism sector in Saudi Arabia is bustling with activity, this presents a challenge for travel professionals to stay abreast of the latest developments amidst a deluge of information. Recognising this, Saudi Arabia for Elites (SAFE) is adopting what we like to call “information intelligence” to sift through the noise and unify various sources into a coherent narrative.
In the spirit of progress and to augment our evolving website, we are introducing a concise “show report.” This overview captures key highlights from Saudi Arabia’s offerings at this year’s ILTM Cannes—an invaluable resource for attendees who may have missed some of the details or those unable to visit the prestigious event in the south of France.
We are excited to share insights from Mohammed Amer AlModhayan, Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Americas & Europe at the Saudi Tourism Authority. His presence at ILTM Cannes marks significant strides, such as the inauguration of the first resort within the ambitious Red Sea Project—Six Senses Southern Dunes. This event also showcased a number of key Destination Management Companies (DMCs) and featured the debut of the innovative “Saudi Expert” interactive exhibit.
The industry’s perception of Saudi Arabia’s ambitious tourism goals has transformed dramatically. Once viewed by some as unattainable, these objectives are now being realised through strategic placements and relentless development of the nation’s mega-projects.
Looking ahead, we anticipate robust and mindful growth in Saudi Arabia’s luxury tourism. The expansion promises to be substantial yet sustainable, setting a new benchmark in the travel industry.
