Saudi Red Sea unveiled as THE new Super Yacht Destination at Monaco Yacht Show

Saudi Arabia has launched its Super Yacht Arabia campaign at the Monaco Yacht Show, positioning the Saudi Red Sea as the world’s newest frontier for superyachting and ultra-luxury maritime experiences.

At a 300 sq m Saudi Pavilion, the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA) highlighted the Red Sea’s cutting-edge marinas, yacht clubs, and bespoke services designed to offer smooth arrivals, effortless operations, and memorable cruising. The campaign presents the Saudi Red Sea as both a year-round hub for superyachts and a world-class winter sun destination – blending futuristic infrastructure with authentic Arabian heritage and pristine natural settings.

The pavilion hosted immersive experiences, including Saudi-inspired mocktails and interactive digital displays that allowed visitors to explore the Red Sea’s luxury offerings, cruising grounds, and cultural highlights. During the show, STA engaged with nearly 100 international organisations, with 18 potential deals initiated, underscoring the Kingdom’s commitment to establishing itself as a major player in the luxury yachting sector.

Partners such as Jeddah Yacht Club & Marina, the Saudi Red Sea Authority, AMAALA, The Helicopter Company, Blue Limits Group, King Abdullah Economic City, and Red Sea Global joined STA in presenting the full ecosystem of opportunities available to superyachts, captains, and guests.

“Backed by over $22.4 billion of investment, the Saudi Red Sea offers more than 1,800 km of pristine coastline, ready to welcome the global yachting community with unrivalled cruising grounds, world-class marinas, and extraordinary experiences,” said Fahd Hamidaddin, CEO of the Saudi Tourism Authority. “From the Med to the Red, we are setting new standards in luxury and hospitality, and the Monaco Yacht Show has been the ideal platform to share this vision.”

This year marks the opening of several new flagship properties on Shura Island, including SLS, EDITION, and InterContinental resorts, with more than 80 hotels planned across The Red Sea and AMAALA destinations by 2030. The exclusive Thuwal Private Retreat and the newly launched Shura Links, a par-72 championship golf course along the coast, add to the expanding portfolio of ultra-luxury experiences.

With its Super Yacht Arabia campaign, Saudi Arabia signals a new era for international yachting: an Arabian Super Destination offering pristine waters, hidden coves, coral reefs, oases, private islands, and a rich cultural backdrop – all supported by scalable infrastructure and a clear vision under Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030.
