The initiative, developed in collaboration with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, allows travellers to seamlessly obtain a stopover visa during the booking process, blending convenience with luxury.

Clients availing themselves of this unique opportunity can immerse in the rich Saudi culture and explore the kingdom’s breathtaking landscapes for up to 96 hours.

The itinerary can include spiritual fulfillment through performing Umrah, visits to the sacred sites, and tours of Saudi Arabia’s UNESCO World Heritage sites such as the mystical desert of AlUla, the vibrant Historic Jeddah, and the verdant Al-Ahsa Oasis.

“We are very proud to be bringing the world to Saudi Arabia with our stopover visa initiative,” said Arved Muhlen, Chief Commercial Officer at Saudia. “The seamless digital journey for our guests embodies the hospitality that defines flying with Saudia. Providing regular, reliable and ever-expanding flights to Saudi Arabia from Europe on our young fleet, where guests enjoy a range of excellent onboard facilities and unsurpassed service, is a great honour. We look forward to continuing to welcome more passengers onboard, to experience Saudi.”

This initiative is part of the ambitious Vision 2030, aiming to transform the Kingdom into a global tourism hub with goals of attracting 150 million visits annually by the end of the decade.
