Shadi Suleman returns to Riyadh as regional vice president and general manager of Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh

Four Seasons Hotel Riyadh at Kingdom Centre has announced the appointment of Shadi Suleman as regional vice president and general manager, marking his return to Riyadh where his distinguished journey with Four Seasons began over two decades ago.

With a career spanning 23 years across Syria, Turkey, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Qatar, Suleman brings exceptional regional insight and operational expertise. His tenure with Four Seasons includes leadership roles at some of the group’s most iconic properties, from Four Seasons Hotel Istanbul at the Bosphorus to Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria at San Stefano and most recently Four Seasons Hotel Doha.

During his time in Doha, Suleman oversaw a period of remarkable recognition. The property was named the number one hotel in the Middle East and fifth worldwide in the 2022 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. It also secured consecutive Forbes Five-Star ratings in 2024 and 2025, alongside a Five-Star award for its spa and Michelin Guide accolades for Nobu and Curiosa by Jean-Georges.

In his expanded role, Suleman will lead the strategic growth of Four Seasons across Saudi Arabia while continuing to oversee operations at the group’s hotels in Qatar. Speaking of his return to Riyadh, he said: “It’s a true privilege to return to Riyadh in this new capacity. I’m honoured to lead such an iconic property and contribute to Four Seasons continued expansion in Saudi Arabia. The Kingdom’s hospitality landscape is evolving at an incredible pace, and I look forward to working with our outstanding teams to deliver the legendary Four Seasons experience.”

A graduate of Damascus University with a degree in business administration and hospitality management, Suleman is known for his people-first leadership style and deep understanding of the GCC hospitality sector. “What matters most to me is building genuine connections with our guests and fostering a team culture that inspires the same level of care and engagement,” he noted.
